A mural has a fixed composition. The placement of a tree, horizon, or central feature matters, especially around furniture, doors, and windows. We review the artwork and wall together, check the supplied panel layout, and plan the position before hanging.
Review the panels
We check panel order and the manufacturer’s seam instructions. Some murals require a butt joint; others use overlap or a specific trimming method.
Align and trim
After the agreed surface preparation, we position the panels to carry the artwork across the wall, trim at the edges, and finish around openings and details.
Review the size before you order.
Order the mural larger than the wall to allow for trimming and walls that are not perfectly square. We generally recommend about 5–6 inches of extra width and height overall, but the final allowance must suit the supplier’s instructions and your wall. Check how the image will be cropped in the preview, and send us the order details before purchasing if you would like us to review the fit.

What mural material should I choose?
Traditional paste-the-wall material is our usual recommendation when available. Send the available options and manufacturer’s instructions so we can review the product for your wall.
